By Bus to Sumner via Avonhead and City Centre, you can transfer between CHC Airport and Sumner via Avonhead and Christchurch city centre.
Stops: Christchurch Airport, Sheffield Cres, Avonhead Mall, University of Canterbury, Westfield Riccarton, Christchurch Hospital, Bus Interchange (Platform A), Bus Interchange (Platform L), Ferry Rd, Ferrymead Shops and Sumner.
Total trip time is around 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday: from 06:35 am to 11:37 pm, every 30 minutes.
- Saturday: from 06:05 am to 11:39 pm, every 30 minutes.
- Sunday: from 06:37 am to 11:39 pm, every 30 minutes.

Bus to Christchurch City via Fendalton operates between Christchurch Airport and Christchurch city via Fendalton.
Stops: Christchurch Airport, Fendalton Rd near Clyde Rd and Bus interchange (Platform C).

- Monday to Friday: from 06:22 am to 10:32 pm, every 30 minutes.
- Saturday: from 06:42 am to 11:32 pm. Frequencies vary.

To Redwood / Westlake covers the route between Redwood and Westlake via Christchurch Airport.
Stops: Redwood, Northlands Mall, Bishopdale Mall, Christchurch Airport, Russley, the Hub Hornby, Westlake and Halswell Shops.
Total trip time is 30 minutes (from the Airport to Redwood) or 40 minutes (from the Airport to Westlake).
Schedule
- To Redwood: from 06:28 am to 10:56 pm (Monday to Friday), from 06:26 am to 11:26 pm (Saturday), and from 07:26 am to 10:26 pm (Sunday). Frequency: 30 minutes approx.
- To Westlake: from 06:14 am to 10:24 pm (Monday to Friday), from 06:24 to 11:24 pm (Saturday) and from 07:24 am to 10:24 pm (Sunday). Frequency: 30 minutes approx.
